You may select the preset objects provided or load your own .glb 3D file to add to the environment. Once added, you may adjust the position, rotation, and scale of the stage model further by using the Object Configuration option menu.
You may also use your hand to grab the objects and manipulate their position, rotation, and scale directly. Plus the ability to duplicate or destroy the object further. Check out Object Manipulation to learn more.
Some preset object comes with a special function. You can activate or deactivate such a special function by pressing the X or A button on your touch controller based on which hand you are holding it with.
You can add your own custom model in .glb file format by adding it to the "object" folder located in the App folder of your OMPR Quest.
or
By downloading any .glb files through the built-in web browser.
All downloaded .glb files from the web browser will be placed in the download folder under the "glb" folder as follows. \Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.TSMFBAS.OMPRQuest\files\download\glb
or
Use the companion app to easily and quickly add, remove, and manage your object model.
or
Download any .glb files online from OMPR Quest web browser. Clicking on any .glb link from a web page will automatically load the model into the virtual space
All downloaded models will be stored at the following location: \Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.TSMFBAS.OMPRQuest\files\Download\Glb
Try to make sure that your custom 3D model is set to a true real-life scale for size.
At the moment only .glb files are supported!
Be mindful of the hardware limitation. There is no hard limit being set on how many polygons your model can have. Having a huge number of high poly models might impact your device's performance.
