Companion app

The companion app allows you to easily transfer and manage your custom media to the Quest headset without installing any extra application. All you need is just your web browser on the target device.

How to connect to the companion app

The video demonstrates a quick setup process for connecting your headset. From your Quest HMD 1)From the OMPR UI main menu -> click on the Info icon 2)Select "Connection" tab 3)Change the port number or leave it as it is if you are okay with the default 8088 4)Click "Start" button and the light will turn green when the connection is ready 5) Note the URL provided. From your web browser 1)Type in the URL that was provided earlier from your Quest into your target device web browser 2)Once connected you can freely add, remove, and manage all the custom media between your device and your Quest.

When you are finished with your customization needs. You can press the "Stop" button on the connection tab to stop any connectivity!
